I’m not taking away anything from Bret McKenzie but…

It’s a little sad that “Rainbow Connection” from The Muppet Movie and “The First Time It Happens” from The Great Muppet Caper, which are both great songs, lost their nominations, but “Man or Muppet”, while also a nice number from The Muppets, pales in comparison to those songs and won the Academy Award. Just my opinion. I guess I’m being a Muppet purist.

In a way, the song, like the entire film, is kind of a tribute to everything about The Muppets. So yeah.
